**This tournament will be run with the new 6th edition ruleset.**

UPDATE!!  The following modifications to the tournament will be in effect. 

- Qualifiers will be played at 1999+1 points. (no 2 FOC)
- Qualifiers will be played “by the book.” with the following exceptions below
- Qualifiers will NOT be using “Mysterious Terrain,” rules.
- Qualifiers will NOT be using “Archotech Artefacts” rules (p 106)
- Qualifiers will NOT be using “Unique Terrain,” rules (p. 107)
- Qualifiers will NOT be using “Warlord Traits,” rules

We’ll be holding ours August 4th, 10am and we’re taking over the shop with 12 tables!

I”… we will have more than 20 states holding qualifiers with an anticipated 60-80 stores competing, which would mean an expected 840-1,120 individual players attempting to qualifier.

Each host store holds a tournament:

  • Swiss style parings, painting scored but not required, sportsmanship counts. (70% Battle points, 20% painting, 10% sportsmanship).
  • Qualifier weekend is August 11th. Though each store can work with their state rep to schedule their qualifier to fit their personal schedule.
  • Qualifier Tournaments are 2000 points.
  • Top 3 players are given a “Golden Ticket” to participate in the Invitational Championship in Denver!
